With 11 new mounts obtainable through content newly added to Dawntrail, players will have their work cut out for them if they want to collect them all.

How To Get The Air-wheeler A9 Mount

The Air-wheeler A9 mount is a transforming motorcycle mount that can bepurchased for 7,500,000 gil from the Air-wheeler Dealer Neon in Solution Nine (X:8.3, Y:13.3). Solution Nine won’t be accessible for players until theyprogress through the Main Scenario Quest, unlocking part way through the level 97 quest “Solution Nine”.

How To Get The Alpaca Mount

The Alpaca mount is a pack animal with great significance to the Pelupelu people of Tural, granted as a free quest reward. To obtain this mount, players will need to complete thelevel 100 Main Scenario Quest “Dawntrail”.

How To Get The Automatoise Mount

An upgraded version of the existing Adamantoise mount available from The Gold Saucer, the Automatoise is a reward from the Clan Nutsy Hunts, available to bepurchased for 3,200 Sacks of Nuts from Ryubool Ja in Tuliyollal (X:13.9, Y:13.5). In order for this mount to appear in their store, players will need to first unlock Dawntrail hunts via the quest “A New Dawn, a New Hunt” in Tuliyollal (X:11.8, Y:13.7), and complete the level 100 Main Scenario Quest “Dawntrail”.

How To Get The Mehwapyarra Mount

An enlarged version of the Capybara Pup minion, the Mehwapyarra is an exclusive reward obtainable bycompleting the rare FATE “The Serpentlord Seethes” in Shaaloani (X:22.5, Y:5.1).Like other rare FATES, The Serpentlord Seethes has a random cooldown between 36 and 72 hours, spawning at the end of the Serpentlord FATE chain once its cooldown has reset.

The FATE chain consists of four FATEs: “The Serpentlord Stirs”, “The Serpentlord Speaks”, “The Serpentlord Sires”, and “The Serpentlord Suffers”. Completing The Serpentlord Seethes will reward two, four, or six Ttokrrone Scales depending on the rank of the player’s contribution, withtwelve Ttokrrone Scalesbeing required to purchase the Mehwapyarra mount fromUah’shepya in Solution Nine (X:8.6, Y:13.5)under the Sublime Curiosities menu option

How To Get The Outrunner Mount

The Outrunner mount is an exclusive reward granted to players who complete the achievement “A Life Of Adventure VI”. This achievement requires players to obtain the “Mastering War VI” achievement, granted for leveling all Disciples of War to level 100, as well as the “Mastering Magic VI” achievement, granted for leveling all Disciples of Magic to level 100. The Outrunner Mount can then be obtained from the achievement journal under Character > Achievements

How To Get The Rroneek Mount

The Rroneek mount is a gatherer-specific reward requiring a lengthy grind to obtain. The mount can bepurchased for 100 Rroneek Horn Tokens from the Splendors Vendor in Solution Nine (X:9.1 Y:13.2). Rroneek Horn Tokens are themselves purchasable from any Scrip Exchange vendor under the Orange Scrip Exchange (Lv.100 Materials/Bait/Tokens) option, costing 1,000 Orange Gatherers' Scrips each, resulting in a total cost of 100,000 Orange Gatherers' Scrips to obtain the mount. Rroneek Horn Tokens can also be exchanged between players, allowing those looking to alleviate the grind to purchase these tokens using the in-game market board.

How To Get The Ty’aitya Mount

The Ty’aitya is a new long-term grind added to theDawntrailexpansion, requiring players to collect Bicolor Gemstonessimilar to the Fallen Angel WingsfromEndwalker. Purchasing the Ty’aitya mount requires500 Turali Bicolor Gemstone Vouchers, each costing 100 Bicolor Gemstones themselves,totaling 50,000 Bicolor Gemstones.

to have the option to purchase the vouchers, players will need to obtain rank 4 in the Shared FATE system for all Dawntrail zones, requiring them tocomplete 66 FATEs in each zone. Once this step is completed, two vendors will be unlocked,Kaleel Ja in Tuliyollal (X:12.8, Y:13)andBeryl in Solution Nine (X:8.4, Y:14), where players can purchase the Turali Bicolor Gemstone Vouchers. Like previous gemstone vouchers, these can be purchased from other players via the in-game market board. After collecting all 500 vouchers, the Ty’aitya mount can bepurchased from Edelina in Mor Dhona (X:22.1, Y:4.9)under the Gemstone Vouchers option.

How To Get The Ullr Mount

The Ullr mount is a new achievement mount related to The Hunt like the Centurio Tiger and Triceratops before it, making it poised to becomeone of the rarest mounts in the game. The requisite achievement, “Dawnbright Hunter”, tasks players with completing the “Dawn of a New A Game III”, obtained by slaying 2,000 A rank elite marks from Dawntrail zones, and “Dawn of a New S Game III”, obtained by slaying 1,000S rank elite marks from Dawntrail zones. Once completed, the Ullr mount can then be obtained from the achievement journal under Character > Achievements

How To Get The Wings of Resolve and Wings of Ruin Mounts

The Wings of Resolve and Wings of Ruin are part of the new series of mountsearned from Extreme trials, sprouting a pair of wings and impressive adornments themed after the bosses they were obtained from.The Wings of Resolve is a rare drop from The Everkeep (Extreme), while theWings of Ruin is a rare drop from Worqor Lar Dor (Extreme).

As these mounts are notoriously uncommon, players will likely need to complete a lengthy grind to have a chance at obtaining them, however, it is common for the drop rates of mounts obtained from Extreme trials to have their drop rates increased in later patches. If patterns from previous expansions hold true, The Wings of Resolve and Wings of Ruin should become available for purchase in Patch 7.2 in exchange for 100 Resilient or Skyruin Totems, with each Extreme trial rewarding one corresponding totem per completion.
