Season 19 ofApex Legendsis finally introducing Cross Progression to the game. Players who have been playing the title across multiple consoles will have all their items and stats merged into a single account, making transitions from PC to console and vice versa much more seamless than before.
Connecting oneApex Legendsaccount with another belonging to a different gaming system is a little confusing, however, and there are some important things to keep in mind about Cross Progression that every player should be aware of. Here’s what everyone needs to know abouthow to activate Cross Progression.

Cross Progression Activation In Apex Legends
Cross Progression forApex Legendsofficially kicked off duringthe launch of Season 19. All accounts, whether they be old or new, cannot opt out of this feature, which means everyone will get to enjoy Cross Progression even if they play on just one system. However, as perRespawn’s official post, Cross Progression linking will berolled out over time.
When a player boots upApex Legendsfor the first time during Season 19, theymaybe greeted by a screen in the main menu showing them all the accounts they have linked to their main EA account as well as a summary of the cosmetics and currencies they’ve earned on each of them. If this screen appears, then it means the player’s accounts are already linked, and they’ll be able to use all of their items regardless of what platform they choose to play on.

Those who don’t get this screen when they log in simply need to wait. Respawn mentioned that accounts will be phased in over a period of time to avoid stability issues. Additionally, accounts that were created after October 26 for an existing EA account will not be eligible for Cross Progressionto prevent possible exploitation.
As for what carries over, players will be able to play withall of their unlocked charactersregardless of which platform they’re using. The same applies to cosmetics, although console-exclusive rewards like the P.A.T.H. skin and Xbox Gold items will remain exclusive to their respective consoles.

Apex Coins, Crafting materials, Legend Tokens, and Heirloom Shards are all tied to a player’s EA account, which means they will remain constant across all platforms. However, any Apex Coins purchased or earned while playing on the Nintendo Switch will remain exclusive to that platform.
Ranked leaderboards and 1st party achievements/trophies will still be divided by platform, but XP, Prize Tracks, and rewards from Challenges and the Battle Pass will carry over.
