Horizon Forbidden Westis the upcoming follow-up to Sony’s enormously successfulHorizon Zero Dawn. Aloy will be back on a new adventure that is likely to find itself on lists of the highest-ratedPlayStation 5 games of the year. The first title was so successful that it was something of a surprise when Sony opted to bring the game to Steam as a way of exploring how tentpole titles would fare on the PC platform.
The game’s success on PC now has been players wondering ifHorizon Forbidden Westwill be making its way to the platform as well.Unfortunately, it’s not good news for people who prefer to play their game on PC instead of consoles.

Now that the open-world action game has a set release date, PS5 fans only have to wait a few more months until they can explore the fictional post-apocalyptic version of the west coast. However, for fans holding out hope forHorizon Forbidden West on PC, Sony still has not confirmed a port. If Forbidden West is anything like Zero Dawn, it could eventually come to PC a few years after its PlayStation launch. For now, the game remains a PS4/PS5 exclusive.

Will Horizon Forbidden West Come to PC?
It would appear that, for now,Horizon Forbidden Westwill not be coming to PC.
Horizon Forbidden Westwill be a PlayStation exclusive, coming to the PS5 and the PS4, but not to other platforms. This is understandable, as Sony has stated that the company has no intention of doing simultaneous releases on PC with their largest titles. This doesn’t mean that the game will never end up on PC, however. After all, thecompany has releasedDays Goneon PC.
APlayStation Studios Steam pagehas been set up, strongly hinting that even more titles will be on the way to PC, and with theHorizonseries already having a presence on the platform, it is logical to assume that the next installment will make its way to the platform at some point. Realistically, it is likely to be years down the line as there was a three-year gap betweenHorizon Zero Dawnlaunching on PlayStation and arriving on PC.
A recent investor report has shown thatUncharted 4could be the next game Sony brings to PC, undoubtedly to tie into the release of theupcomingUnchartedmovie. This would certainly prove that Sony is very serious about leveraging the incredible power of some of gaming’s biggest titles on a whole new platform, something that will no doubt make PC gamers incredibly happy.
