However, Gunn cleared the air on his level of participation in the cancellations with parting words that have become all too common for Warner Bros. Gunn denied these claims and stated that the decision was made before he started at DC Studios and that he wishes the best for everyone behind the production of each show.
On the surface, it may seem like, at least what appears to be, transparency between fans and studio executives, which couldn’t be said aboutstudio executives during the DCEU days. However, there seems to be a pattern in development regarding the talking points and responses used in selective public replies to paint a specific picture of fan discourse, which has the potential to create further division. This pattern might explain why this untested PR tactic may not be considered professional, despite its growing popularity through the years, thanks to public figures like Elon Musk and Donald Trump.
Given the nature of each series, they could have gone on for a long time. However, all great things must end, which is sure to bebittersweet forDoom PatrolandTitansfans. Despite the shocking and painful realization for audiences, there is a silver lining in the fact that the writing will at least provide an ending to the series that the producers are excited for fans to see.
