Jujutsu Kaisenis currentlyin the Culling Game arcand this is certainly one of the most incredible arcs in the story, given the intense fights that have taken place there, along with all the shocking deaths that have unfolded at the same time. Fans have seen quite a lot of shocking events which they never expected to take place over the course of the last few months and, recently, another one of such events took place in the story, this time, with Kenjaku being at the center of it all.

Jujutsu Kaisenchapter 243 might just have killed off Kenjaku in the most shocking manner, which no fan could ever have predicted.

Kenjaku in Geto’s Body

Kenjaku’s Role As A Major Villain

It goes without saying thatKenjaku is one of the main villainsin the entirety ofJJK. The fans have seen him pull the strings from behind the scenes for years upon years now. In fact, it can be said that Kenjaku is even more of a villain than Sukuna. He is the mastermind who has pulled everything off and his plans have transcended time itself. Kenjaku is the mastermind behind the Culling Game arc and he’s certainly behind every major death that has taken place in the story so far. Naturally, one would expect a villain such as him to be involved in the end game ofJujutsu Kaisen.

After all, he is a villain who deserves a proper send-off and, at the same time, fans have not even seen what he’s fully capable of yet. For a character such as him, meeting an early end just feels anti-climactic, however, that is precisely what ended up happening inJJKchapter 243. Much to the surprise of the fans, it appears that Kenjaku has met his end and will no longer be able to continue his role as the most important antagonist in the series, being the one to pull the strings from behind the shadows.

Kenjaku Vs Takaba

Fans have seen Kenjaku pull the stringsfrom the shadows for quite a long time, however, after Gojo was sealed away, he took more of an active role and set up the Culling Game arc. Kenjaku has, since then, been incredibly active as a villain, and in the Culling Game arc, he certainly clashed against some incredibly powerful enemies. He fought sorcerers such as Yuki, and while she could have finished him off, it ended up being Takaba who opened the door for Kenjaku’s eventual demise.

Kenjaku was seen in action against him recently in Jujutsu Kaisen. In chapter 239 of the manga, this incredible fight began, much to the surprise of the fans. No fan expected Takaba to be able to fight Kenjaku in an extended battle, however, that is exactly what ended up happening. Takaba and his cursed technique were the star of the show and they certainly created a world where Kenjaku could do nothing but get sucked in as well. With his incredible Soul Resonance, Takaba was able to make Kenjaku take part in his play and go through several comedic situations, which would eventually lead to Kenjaku appreciating Takaba as a sorcerer but, more importantly, as a comedian. However, little did Kenjaku know that all this was supposed to pave the way for his eventual demise, which came at the hands of none other than the incredibly talented sorcerer and the beloved character, Yuta Okkotsu.

Yuta Vs Kenjaku Death

How Yuta Cut Off Pseudo Geto’s Head

Yuta is an exceptionally important characterand he has displayed tremendous strength throughout the Culling Game arc. It wouldn’t be a stretch to say that Yuta is among the strongest sorcerers who are currently taking part in the Culling Game and, among the players from the side of the protagonist, he could even be the strongest. A lot of things were expected from his character in the Culling Game arc and he certainly delivered upon every single one of them. Yuta has engaged in quite a lot of battles in this arc already and it goes without saying that his most important battle came against Kenjaku inJujutsu Kaisenchapter 243.

Yuta took not just Kenjaku but the entire fan base by surprise when he snuck up on him and cut his head right off with a swing of his sword. Under normal circumstances, this should have been impossible for him. Yuta possesses a tremendous amount of cursed energy and fans have seen him exude a lot of this power, which only adds to his unpredictability in combat. For any sorcerer, especially those as skilled as Kenjaku, detecting Yuta should be easy, however, he was not able to do that inJJKchapter 243. This was simply down to the fact that Takaba had sucked Kenjaku in his cursed technique and this prevented him from sensing Yuta at all. Yuta was successfully able to sneak up on him and launch a powerful strike that cut his head off cleanly.

Will Kenjaku Die?

Although Kenjaku lost his head, fans believed that he could simply work his way around this problem, as he always has whenever he has been in a dire situation. However, in a shocking surprise, Kenjaku revealed that he was very close to his goals and ended up failing at the last time, almost as if he admitted defeat. He then went on to say that his will and goals will be inherited by someone who will surely bring his dreams to fruition. Once again, this almost sounds as if he’s made peace with the fact that he is going to die. The chances for Kenjaku to die are very high and, it is entirely possible, even likely, that Yuta will simply stab the brain in the upcoming chapter and exorcize it in the process. This would robJJKof its smartest villain and an incredibly major character.

While the chances for Kenjaku to die are incredibly high, it is also possible that, through some means, he will be able to escape Yuta and seek a new body. Fans know that there are a lot of bodies for him to take over, given that a lot of important characters have recently died, however, the most important body that he can take over is certainly that of Gojo. This would be excruciatingly painful for the fans, given that Gojo just died and Kenjaku taking over his body would be like adding salt to an injury. If Kenjaku manages to pull this off, then he could rise from a dangerous villain to possibly the greatest villain inJJKand everything hinges on the next few chapters.

Regardless of which waythe story goes for Kenjaku, he has certainly madeJJKvery fun and intriguing with his presence and even though his potential demise might be underwhelming, Kenjaku will forever be remembered as one of the most heinous villains to have ever lived in fiction.
