Blessed with an Electro vision, Kujou Sara makes foran excellent Electro-userinGenshin Impact. Her skill allows the player to utilize the strength of thunder through Electro-infused charged shots and lightning-summoning elemental talents.
Builds And Strategies For Kujou Sara
Generally speaking, players looking to build Kujou Sara after pulling her can follow two general builds. Given her status as an Electro-user, the players can use her as either an Electro DPS or support.
Electro DPS
Onthe DPS side, players are going to want to make heavy use of Kujou Sara’s elemental burst. Raining lightning down from the sky, she creates a quick area-of-effect attack that can hit for a hefty amount of damage and ground. After that, the next priority talent can largely be left to the player’s discretion, though investing in Kujou Sara’s normal attack is often a good rule of thumb for bow-users.
Support
Kujou Sara can make for anexcellent burst support character, though there isn’t very much of a difference build-wise. Generally speaking, the type of weapons, talent priorities, and artifacts, that benefit an elemental DPS will benefit an enabler-support. However, strategy-wise, using an enabler differs greatly from using DPS; players will want to focus on using Kujou Sara’s elemental burst and skill, then quickly switching to a different character with a crowd-effecting burst or skill. Other than that, there may be some minor considerations build-wise for players: artifact stats, weapon attributes, etc.
Artifacts
Choosing artifacts for Kujou Sara makes for an ultimately straightforward task forGenshin Impactplayers. For both the DPS and support build, artifact sets that increase Electro effectiveness will be a massive benefit for players building Kujou Sara. Given this much, the best artifact set for Kujou Sara is theThundering Furyset.
Alternatively, players can also invest in a Noblesse Oblige set, which will increase the damage of her burst. While the set itself does not change with each build, players should be aware that some stats are better for either the DPS or support build. The DPS build benefits more from Electro damage, attack, critical damage/rate, and other offensive boosts, while the support build benefits from stats like energy recharge, HP boosts, and minor attack boosts.

Weapons
Much like with artifacts, the actual best weapon doesn’t change much between Kujou Sara’s two builds. Generally speaking,Elegy of the Endis the best weapon for Kujou Sara, given how it effectively increases elemental mastery, attack, and energy recharge. As an alternate, players will find both the Skyward Harp and the Alley Hunter to be good choices.

For a gacha-free choice, players can also equip Kujou Sarawith the Hamayumi. However, before players decide to invest in this option, they should know that their strategy may change. Rather than using Kujou Sara’s burst often, the Hamayumi will make attacks stronger when energy is at full capacity;Genshin Impactplayers should build accordingly.
Team Compositions
As with some ofthe best charactersinGenshin Impact, Kujou Sara’s placement will vary greatly depending on her build. Generally speaking, due to her incredible versatility, Kujou Sara is best placed as a sub-DPS; she can fill the DPS position at times, while also offering great enabling capabilities in a narrow preset of characters. In some ways, this may be easier for some players to build for.
In the support build, players are going to want a Cryo, Pyro, or Hydro character that can hit opponents in large crowds. Generally speaking, this will entail building a character witha heavy-hitting burst, like Diluc. Additionally, players may find it beneficial to include a more support-centric sub-DPS, especially one that specializes in energy recharge.

In the DPS position, Kujou Sara will need a support that can able just as well as she can. Generally speaking, players will want a character with access to a strong elemental reaction:a good Pyro-userwill do the trick typically, as well as Hydro-users for crowd warfare. Characters like Bennett and Mona will make for good all-around choices.
