The Amazon-published MMOLost Arkcontinues to be massively popular as one of Steam’s most-played games. Free-to-play access to the MMO has certainly played a major part inLost Ark’s success, but so has the fact that Amazon localized a game that’s been available for several years. That extra polish, years of availability in South Korea before being brought west, has givenLost Arkthe momentum it needed to continue its launch success. It also means there’s a pipeline of content arriving inLost Arkfaster than expected.Amazon recently shared its release notes forLost Ark’s March update, which is arriving Thursday following a scheduled four-hour server maintenance. A diverse range of content is being introduced in the patch, including the Kadan story episode set in Isteri and the Illusion Bamboo Islands, the Abyss Raid Argos, the limited-time Arkesia Grand Prix racing event, Season 1 of the Competitive Proving Grounds, new skins, new log-in bonuses, and all sorts of bug fixes.RELATED:Lost Ark Won’t Be Censoring Revealing OutfitsLost Ark’s most prominent addition is, of course, theKadan story episode. It’s a full new chapter for players to experience, just like the base game’s campaign. The story revolves around the first Guardian slayer Kadan, the search for the final Ark, and new revelations regarding Sideareals. Players are recommended to be around item level 1,100 to play through the new content. Additionally, players will have to have completed Feiton and several additional prologue quests before starting.

Next up is the raid, a new Abyss Raid that’s named Argos. This Abyss Raid is akin toGuardian Raids, in that a group of players gathers to take on a single powerful enemy. Argos is a large, armored elk-like creature with powerful magicks. The fight against Argos will be spread across three phases, each unique and challenging in its own way. Each phase will also have its own reward, item level 1370, 1385, and 1400 respectively. This should provide a new, difficult experience forLost Arkplayers to seek to conquer.

Beyond those two major content additions, the new Arkesia Grand Prix andCompetitive Proving Groundsseason should offer day-to-day fun in between progression. In the Arkesia Grand Prix, two teams of 7 will race against each other for special rewards. Arkesia Grand Prix will end with the April patch. As for Season 1 of the Competitive Proving Grounds, it won’t technically begin until later in March. Today’s patch will only lay the groundwork for what’s coming.

Otherwise,Lost Arkplayers will be able to peruse the store and see the new Omen skins, earn new daily login rewards, and otherwise have a more stable MMO experience starting today. ConsideringLost Arkreleased just one month ago, it’s great to see substantial content already being released for the MMO. And there’s certainly more to come.
