Marvel’s Avengerscontinues to get new content despite its mixed reception. Developer Crystal Dynamic had released theWar for Wakandaexpansion forMarvel’s Avengerslast year and followed it up with the game’s first raid. The post-story content was a big focus of the criticism directed towardsMarvel’s Avengers, but many users consider the Klaw Raid to be the best end-game content released for the game.
Players can purchase a wide variety ofcostumes inMarvel’s Avengers, with some based on the comics or the MCU, and others featuring original designs. These costumes can be bought using premium currency, with the legendary costumes costing 900 Credits, or approximately 9 USD. Players can also earn costumes by opening Shipments, which essentially function as loot boxes. Now, Crystal Dynamics has revealed a new Spider-Man costume based on the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The Twitter account forMarvel’s Avengersconfirms that the Stealth Outfit fromSpider-Man: Far From Homewill be added to the game, and it will be available later today in the Marketplace for the PS5 and PS4 versions. Fans should note that the same Stealth Suit was added for free in an update forMarvel’s Spider-Manby Insomniac Games, and many users are questioning the developer’s decision to charge for it.
It’s difficult forMarvel’s Avengersto escape comparisons toMarvel’s Spider-Man, especially when the latter offers all skins for free. Regardless, fans have tens of Spider-Man costumes to choose from in the game, and anothercostume based onSpider-Man: Far From Homewas added earlier this year on January 27.
Crystal Dynamics had confirmed thatSpider-Man would be coming toMarvel’s Avengersas free post-launch DLC exclusively for PlayStation customers. It took a while, but Spider-Man was finally added to the game in November 2021. Unlike the previously released superheroes, the update featuring Spider-Man did not add main story missions to the game, but players seemed generally pleased with his move-set.
Crystal Dynamics had announced that it will reveal a newroadmap forMarvel’s Avengersin early 2022, and the replies are filled with many fans asking for an update on the same. Live-service games rely upon a regular influx of new content to keep the users engaged, andMarvel’s Avengershas faced difficulty in retaining the player base. Some fans only play the game whenever a new story update comes out and that audience is not even interested in the live-service elements.
