Cerebro is a Pool 3 card inMarvel Snapwith a unique Ongoing effect. Specifically, Cerebro gives +2 power to a player’s highest power cards, and this buff will be granted to numerous cards if they share the same amount of power. This means that Cerebro works best inMarvel Snapdecks that are filled with cards with identical power, and this guide is here to detail several such decks.

To note, there is onePool 3 card inMarvel Snapthat plays a very important role in all Cerebro decks. That card is Mystique, and playing her alongside Cerebro can lead to some huge power swings on the final turn. While players that have not yet obtained Mystique can still try to take Cerebro strategies into battle, they should not expect to consistently beat many of the game’s best decks.

Blue Marvel

5

This is likely to be the strongest shell for Cerebro, playing low-cost disruption alongside cards that put multiple threats into play. Notably, while Blue Marvel does not receive a buff from Cerebro, it does serve to push additional power across the board and works as another target for Mystique when the namesake card is not drawn. Also,Marvel Snapplayersthat have not yet obtained M’Baku should not shy away from this deck, as he can be replaced with Invisible Woman, Goose, or another two-power card.

Valkyrie

While this deck is not quite as aggressive as Cerebro 2, it can still use Cerebro and Mystique to push a ton of power across the board. Additionally, Cerebro 3 gains access to some very potent control cards in Cosmo, Killmonger, and Spider-Man. Perhaps the biggest challenge to overcome with this deck is the number of Pool 3, 4, and 5 cards that it uses, though players can try to fill slots with cards like Professor X andMarvel Snap’s Shang-Chiif necessary.

Sera

This is another aggressive take on Cerebro that players without Brood may want to try. Notably, this deck really became possible following a number ofMarvel Snapbalance changesthat were made at the end of November 2022. One final thing to mention is that Carnage can do good work in this deck, as it can hit four power after eating a whiffed Rocket Raccoon or Mysterio illusion, and players without Agent Coulson should give him a look.
