Though there are plenty of tools available withinMinecraftthat allow for the destruction of terrain and structures alike, one dedicated member of the game’s community takes their demolition projects to another level by removing the End dimension’s central island from existence. This weird realm is just one of the various dimensions accessible withinMinecraft, and while it may be a little more barren than the others, many experienced players recognize it as the home of one of the game’s most dangerous monsters.
Home to both the Endermen and the Ender Dragon, the End dimension consists of innumerable rocky islands floating above a dark and bottomless void. While the realm itselfhas stuck around inMinecraftsince version 1.0, it has seen a variety of interesting additions throughout the game’s life such as its own forms of plantlife, End cities, unique music tracks, and more. The End dimension originally didn’t even consist of anything beyond a small rocky island, though it eventually saw additional procedurally generated terrain which allows daring players to set out on expeditions across the dark and dangerous alien world.

There’s still some considerable distance between the End’s central island and its outer rim though, and players would need to travel a whooping 1000 blocks in any direction to reach safe ground again. While this central island often serves as an ideal spot for some huge and impressive builds from players who have conquered the realm’s master, one fan’s alternative method of utilizing the space gained some significant attention on social media. While they neither elaborated nor provided a reason for the act, one fan named maru_kino5656 took it upon themselves to completely destroy thecentral island ofMinecraft’s End dimension, annihilating the entire structure by hand and leaving only the unbreakable bedrock portals standing.
In a much earlier version ofMinecraft, this would have removed the only natural terrain within the entire dimension. With there now existing a near-infinite expanse of terrain beyond, however, it will certainly take this player a lot longer if they hope to destroy the whole thing. Many entertained fans have gone on to press the player even further, suggesting that they shouldtake toMinecraft’s Overworld or Nether dimensionsnext to see how much land they can destroy by hand.
Though the End dimension has thankfully received some attention in previous updates that has kept the area relevant for the purposes of exploration and looting, many fans remain hopeful that the realm will experience a true overhaul someday. This was seena few years ago forMinecraft’s Nether, and countless players have created tons of their own biomes, mobs, and blocks that would breathe new life into the End’s otherwise dull landscape.
