As was the case withSeason 2 of Invasions Mode, the final mesa thatMortal Kombat 1players will visit during the Season of the Cryomancer is Rampart. Here, they’ll find all manner of challenging enemies as well as four Klues just waiting to be solved. The first of these is called Atomic and is tied to the Mouthy node.
Solving the ATOMIC Klue should be relatively straightforward for mostMortal Kombat 1players, are there just happens to be a Fatality with the word Atomic in its name. For those having trouble, though, this guide features instructions on how to solve the Klue as well as information about the rewards for doing so.
How to Solve the ATOMIC Klue in Mortal Kombat 1
To solve the ATOMIC Klue in Season 3 of Invasions Mode, players will need toperform Havik’s first Fatality. This can be done by pressing Down, Forward, Down, Back Kick (Circle on PlayStation, B on Xbox, or A on Switch) while standing at close range. If done correctly,Havik will carry out his Atomic Heart Fatality, and the encounter will end as usual. Once players are returned to the map screen, though, they’ll notice that the debris that had once been blocking their path forward has now disappeared, allowing them to reach the nearby chest and claim the items inside as their reward.
ATOMIC Klue Rewards
Upon completing the Atomic Klue and opening up the nearby chest, players will receiveGeneral Shao’s Blizzard Commander skin, theAirhead Rare relic,Shang Tsung’s Wizzard of Chill palette, and250 Seasonal Kredits. The relic can be used in Invasions Mode while the cosmetic items will need to be equipped in the Kustomize menu, which can be accessed via the main menu. As for the Seasonal Kredits, players will be able to use these to purchase time-limited palettes and gear, though should be sure to do so before theSeasonal Kredits expire in mid-February.
Due to a glitch that occurred immediately after Season 3 of Invasions Mode went live, some players may not receive General Shao’s Blizzard Commander skin or Shang Tsung’s Wizard of Chill palette upon opening the chest. If this is the case, they should find that both items are already unlocked and available for use in the Kustomize menu.
