It turns out that Bakugo was blaming himself for All Might’s decline during his fight with Deku. It was a powerful moment, showing that there was more to Bakugo’s character than what met the eye, making him a great anti-hero that fans love to root for in the series.
3Knuckleduster
My Hero Academia: Vigilantesis a great side story that fans of the series should definitely check out. It fleshes out the world quite a bit and evenexplores the background of characters like Stainand how their personalities evolved over time. One particularly notable character in this spinoff who is pretty interesting is Knuckleduster.
This character is extremely powerful and can beat down intimidating villains despite being completely Quirkless, which is pretty interesting in its own right. Another thing Knuckleduster is known for is his violent nature, harboring a deep hatred of villains as he goes out of his way to damage them with his powerful punches.
2Lady Nagant
There was a time when Lady Nagant was actually looking forward to being a hero, using her powerful Rifle Quirk to great effect. However, given her skill at subterfuge, she was used by the people in power to take out villains who posed a threat to society and needed to be silenced instead of getting the justice they deserve through regular means. This was a huge shock for Nagant, who realized that being a hero and villain had little to no differences when it came to the greater picture.

This caused her to become a villain who took a contract from One for All to take out Midoriya. However, during this battle, Deku realized that this person was not totally bad and opted to save her from the darkness instead of giving in and embarking on the path of no return to become a villain. It’s a powerful moment that redeems her character while alsoshowing how merciful Midoriya was.
1Gentle Criminal
The arc where Midoriya deals with Gentle Criminal feels like an unnecessary side plot, arriving right after the amazing battle against Endeavor and his gang. However, people who managed to look past this issue liked Gentle Criminal and what this villain brought to the table. He genuinely tried to use his Quirk for good, but a lack of training and guidanceled to him being shunned by societyand forced to feel like no one cared for him.
However, after meeting La Brava, he realized that there was something living for all along. In a way, the duo’s villainous actions are more attuned towards causing mischief and getting attention as opposed to actually hurting people. Folks may contest his status as an anti-hero, but there’s no denying that he fits the bill in many ways despite being introduced in the series as a villain.
