The concept of Jinchuriki is very prevalent in theNarutoseries. Known to be people with Tailed Beasts, who are known to be monstrous creatures, sealed within their bodies, the Jinchuriki are deemed to be weapons for villages to use in case the need ever arises. Given that there are nine Tailed Beasts in the world ofNaruto, there haveexisted countless Jinchuriki over the years, with Naruto Uzumaki, the protagonist of the series, being the most prominent one.

While becoming a Jinchuriki certainly does come with its hardships, it also offers tremendous powers to the person, provided they manage to control their beast. The likes of Killer Bee,the Jinchuriki of the Eight-Tails,and Naruto Uzumaki, the Jinchuriki of the Nine-Tails, are examples of that. Becoming a Jinchuriki has granted them tremendous power and allowed them to fight on the highest level to establish themselves as powerful figures in the shinobi world. Among all the Jinchuriki, however, there is one in particular that grants powers beyond any other and that is the Jinchuriki of the Ten-Tails.
What Is The Ten-Tails Jinchuriki?
As evident from the name, The Ten-Tails Jinchuriki is the person inside whom the Ten-Tails is sealed. Centuries ago, the Ten-Tails was known to have run across the earth and caused great destruction. Its powers were such that it was known to have swallowed oceans, destroyed lands and if it wanted to, it could potentially have wiped out the entire planet with ease. To stop this mighty beast,Hagoromo Otsutsuki and his brother, Hamura, joined forces and fought the beast for months.
Thanks to their Otsutsuki lineage, the beast was finally subdued. The husk of the beast was sealed inside the moon which was created by a Six Paths: Chibaku Tensei. Meanwhile, the real power of the beast itself was sealed within Hagoromo Otsutsuki, making him the first Jinchuriki of the Ten-Tails. Hagoromo was already quite powerful, so for him, becoming a Ten-tails Jinchuriki didn’t matter much. However, on his deathbed, he split the chakra of the beast into 9 parts and brewed life into them using Creation of All Things, thus giving birth to the nine Tailed Beasts.
In the coming years, these beasts would roam freely across the world until the plan to unify them to create the Ten-Tails was hatched up again. This plan was orchestrated by Madara Uchiha, who was being manipulated by Black Zetsu. Using people such as Obito and the members of the Akatsuki, all the Tailed Beasts were slowly gathered inside the Gedo Statue, and the plan to revive the Ten-Tails was put into motion. During the Fourth Great Ninja War, the Ten-Tails was brought back to life once again, and to better control its powers, the Ten-Tails Jinchuriki was born.

Obito, one of the perpetrators of the war, was the first person to become its Jinchuriki. After losing his battle against Kakashi, he used the Six Coffin Seal to make himself the beast’s Jinchuriki. As apparent from his internal struggle, controlling the beast wasn’t all that easy. In fact, one could quite possibly lose themselves to the beast in an internal struggle. However, if controlled, becoming the Ten-Tails Jinchuriki might well prove to be the greatest power boost in the world of Naruto.
How Strong Is the Ten-Tails Jinchuriki?
Out of all the Jinchuriki in the Naruto world, the Ten-Tails is by far the strongest. The power of the Ten-Tails itself is much greater than the power of all the nine Tailed Beasts combined. The beast is known to be strong enough to split lands and drink oceans if he so wishes. A single blast of its chakra is great enough to wipe out a nation. As such, the Jinchuriki of the Ten-Tails gains great power, once the beast is brought under control.
Obito Uchiha initially struggled to control its power. However, once he managed that, his strength shot through the roof. He became strong enough to take on the entire Shinobi Alliance in combat all by himself and while he certainly did lose to Naruto in the end, it was only because of the internal struggle between his good and evil sides. Furthermore, Obito’s version of the Ten-Tails Jinchuriki was not complete.
It was Madara Uchiha who showed the fans the true power of the Ten-Tails Jinchuriki. Upon becoming the host for the beast, Madara was able to easily take on the likes of the Kage and effortlessly swat them aside. Even someone as strong as Might Guy, upon opening all the Gates, was not able to bring Madara down despite having help from the likes of Kakashi, Minato, and Gaara. When Naruto and Sasuke received their Six Paths power-ups, their strength stillpaled in comparison to Madara Uchiha, such was the power of the Ten-Tails. Madara could easily bring down a meteor shower and destroy any land. He gained a full understanding of any and all Jutsu, including Kekkei Genkai, as evident from the fact that he managed to use Storm Release rather easily. Becoming the Jinchuriki of the Ten-Tails also seemed to grant Madara immortality, and he claimed so himself.
He was able to survive bisection and even a near-death encounter with Might Guy. Using Yin-yang Release, Madara was able to regenerate from any and all wounds. It goes without saying that the Ten-Tails Jinchuriki is unstoppable and only a handful of characters in the story, such as Naruto Uzumaki and Sasuke Uchiha, in their primes, and the likes ofthe Otsutsuki can rival its powers.
