Naruto’sprotagonist, Naruto Uzumaki is one of the greatest fighters to ever live in the story. Although he started off as a rather weak ninja, training over the years has made himone of the greatest Hokage ever, if not the greatest.

Naruto is known for his incredible use of techniques such as the Rasengan and the Rasenshuriken, however, there is much more to his arsenal inNarutothan just those two techniques. In fact, Naruto Uzumaki has a plethora of underrated techniques that make him as strong as he is today.

By the end, Naruto no longer just depended on the Rasengan in combat but also made use of his other powerful skills and attributes which are often underrated by the fans. While this list already has quite a few of them, we decided to add a few more to it and expand on it so it provides an even better insight into how skilled and diverse Naruto truly is with his jutsu.
14Massive Chakra Reserves
Naruto was born as the son of Minato and Kushina Uzumaki. He inherited his parents' powerful chakra and added to that is the fact that he is a member of the Uzumaki clan. As such,his chakra reserves were already massive.
Often, this is what ends up making a difference in combat, as seen when Naruto Uzumaki went up against Sasuke in the Final Valley and maintained a massive edge on him due to having more chakra. Naruto’s chakra pool is, quite easily, the largest in the entire story and that has always been one of his biggest attributes that often goes unnoticed.
13The Uzumaki Vitality
Along with having a massive chakra pool, Naruto Uzumaki has also inherited the incredible vitality of the Uzumaki clan. As seen when the Nine-Tails attacked Konoha, Kushina Uzumaki could even survive her Tailed Beast extraction which would normally kill any Jinchuriki within a few seconds.

Similarly, when Kurama was extracted from Naruto, he didn’t die immediately, and although he couldn’t maintain consciousness like Kushina, he still managed to live. Naruto’s vitality has only grown over the years and this, too, has been a big asset for him in combat. His incredible vitality has helped him overcome the likes of Pain, Obito, Madara, and Kaguya, among others.
12Negative Emotions Sensing
Being the Jinchuriki of the Nine-Tails, Naruto Uzumaki has the ability to sense negative emotions around him. This power awoke within him after having defeated Kurama within his body and gaining access to some of his chakra.
Naruto was easily able to sense Kisame within Samehada and, later, detect every White Zetsu that had transformed into a member of the Shinobi Alliance. This technique is quite effective at detecting enemies and is essentially a for a Hokage to have.
11Regeneration
Naruto is a member of the Uzumaki clan, meaning his chakra reserves are higher than usual, as is his vitality. However, what’s even more important to his vitality is his regeneration ability that stems from being the Jinchuriki of the Nine-Tails.
Even before having any control over the chakra of the Nine-Tails, he could heal rapidly from any injuries. During his first fight against Sasuke, Naruto recovered from a punctured lung within a matter of seconds.
10Frog Kumite
Upon training in the art of Sage Mode with Fukasaku in Mount Myoboku, Naruto Uzumaki gained a grasp of a special type of taijutsu known as Frog Kumite. This technique allows him to strengthen his hand-to-hand combat skills massively and even shatter steel rods with his bare fist.
Naruto could lift massive boulders and even use the energy around him in nature to attack those around him. Although not used by him extensively, this ability is quite dangerous.
9Magnet Release
Magnet Release is a powerful Kekkei Genkai that only a handful of people in theNarutoworld have and Naruto Uzumaki is one of them. Thanks to having a portion of Shukaku’s chakra, Naruto Uzumaki can always tap into the Magnet Release Kekkei Genkai.
Using this power, Naruto can give magnetic properties to his chakra and more importantly, use it in sealing jutsu to strengthen them. Against Madara Uchiha, Naruto utilized a Magnet Release Rasengan to seal away one of Madara’s Limbo shadows.
8Boil Release
An incredible Kekkei Genkai, Boil Release was offered to Naruto Uzumaki by Kokuo, the Five-Tails. After sharing some of its chakra with him, Kokuo could easily tell Naruto to tap into his power and bring out this Kekkei Genkai ability.

Naruto used this power against Kaguya Otsutsuki as a technique called Unrivalled Strength, and it made him strong enough to break free from Kaguya’s ice jutsu and even overwhelm her partially.
7Lava Release
Another Kekkei Genkai that Naruto received through a Tailed Beast, Lava Release is an extremely powerful ability. After saving Son Gokū, Naruto received a portion of his chakra and gained the power to tap into the corrosive Lava Release.
In his fight against Madara Uchiha, Naruto Uzumaki made use of it by incorporating it in a Rasenshuriken of his.This jutsu is powerful enough to slice the God Treein half, along with Madara Uchiha himself.
6Sage Mode
Naruto Uzumaki learned Sage Mode from Fukasaku on Mount Myoboku. After some extremely harsh training, he finally gained a grasp over this ability and officially became a Sage. Thanks to Sage Mode, Naruto Uzumaki could strengthen himself to a point where evenPain wasn’t able to match him in battle.
Over the years, his control over this power has improved significantly. Sage Mode might not be used as often, however, it is certainly a very useful ability.
5Sensory Perception
After meeting Hagoromo Otsutsuki, the Sage of Six Paths, Naruto Uzumaki gained some incredible powers, along with the ability to use the Six Paths Sage Mode. It goes without sayingthat Six Paths Sage Mode offered him a massive boostin abilities across the board, however, there is more to this power than one may think.

Six Paths Sage Mode offers tremendous sensory perception, as seen when Naruto could sense Madara Uchiha’s true power with it. He could even sense the Limbo shadows which existed in an entirely different plane of existence, which no other sensor in the series could do.
