2K Games releasedNBA 2K22last year and continues to update the basketball game with new content, and a recent trailer showed off one of the big new additions to The City’s sandbox. The new video featured highlighted during the trailer is a Zipline that will quickly get players to the key areas of The City.
NBA 2K22confirmed the effectiveness of Ziplines during a recent video captured using one of the next-gen versions of the game. The trailer begins with a player jumping from their Penthouse to a Zipline that overlooks much of The City including Street Court Games, the Gym, The Rec, various shops, and the many other buildings and billboards around The City. The Zipline eventually ends at one of the many Basketball courts around The City where players will quickly be able to get into a game upon landing.

TheNBA 2K22Zipline video didn’t only focus on The City’s Zipline as several fashions were shown off as well. Players have always been able to customize theirNBA 2K22avatar with unique clothing as well as brands like Adidas, Crocs, and Nike and new clothes continue getting added as the game is added to throughout the year. These clothes can be purchased with MVP Points and The Penthouse that players will Zipline down toNBA 2K22’s The Cityfrom will cost them many additional points.
NBA 2K22fans will be able to unlock the Zipline by acquiring the Penthouse in The City which will set them back 1,000,000 MVP Points. Players will have to completeNBA 2K22MyCareerQuests, Daily Quests, Personal Brand questlines like Fashion and Music, or Seasonal quests. The Penthouse is located to the north of the large building in the center of The City as it was depicted in theNBA 2K22trailer, which differs from the other two apartments in the game that are centrally located.
The Penthouse in2K Games' latest basketball game unlocks the Zipline onceNBA 2K22players are able to complete the objective called A Room with a View, which will trigger a cutscene where the basketball prospect takes ownership of the suite.NBA 2K22fans will have to select which of the four Affiliation zones they would like to go to before jumping on the Zipline, while riding down will allow players to Show-Off using various animations. One of these animations was shown off during theNBA 2K22clip as the featured player ran their legs through the air as they sailed downward.
NBA 2K22is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
