AlthoughOutridershad a rough launch, many did and still appreciate the unique combat, the cool classes, and theoverall world of Enoch. The New Horizon update did a lot of work to bring in new players and bring back returning players, especially as its biggest technical difficulties were resolved. To top that off,Outridersdeveloper People Can Fly announced there would be a major expansion released in 2022 around the time of this update.

This expansion,Worldslayer, was expected to be fully announced in the Spring, and now that it’s here, People Can Fly has revealed a new Outriders Broadcast focused on this expansion. Prior to its release, these Broadcasts were ways that People Can Fly communicated withOutridersfans, giving a look at endgame content, each of the classes, and more in these broadcasts. It’s only fitting that the Worldslayer expansion takes a similar approach.

Luckily, it’s not a long wait either. People Can Fly has announced that this broadcast will take place at 9am PT/12pm ET on April 21—Thursday. Not much can be gleaned from the clips that play in thisOutriderspost, but there seems to be a gathering of enemies, a giant snow beast, and more to face on Enoch. Who knows what’ll be shown, but fans will know more very soon.

Outside the new story elements, potentially exploring the mysterious woman seen whenOutriders: Worldslayerwas announced, it’ll be interesting to see any new gameplay mechanics, weapons, and more that make it into the DLC. It’s unknown if Worldslayer will introduce anewOutridersclass, but there are many fans hoping for this too. And it would make sense if Worldslayer’s release date was also announced.

Worldslayer was confirmed for release in 2022, so while it’s not promised as it could potentially do with a few moreOutridersBroadcastsseeing how it’s a big expansion, it would make sense. That does depend on when in 2022 it releases, too. It could be a summer release, a fall release, or so on, but hopefully, fans will just have to wait and see what People Can Fly has up its sleeves on Thursday.

In the meantime, there is plenty going on with People Can Fly outside its work onOutriders. The company has multiple games in development, such as Project Dagger and Project Gemini, and Incuvo Games (Blair Witch VR, Layers of Fear VR, Green Hell VR) is also adapting one ofPeople Can Fly’s IPs into a VR game.Outridersmay be leading the charge, but People Can Fly fans can rest assured more from the company is in the works.

Outridersis available on PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
