Farming simulator games are in a great place right now. Between the success of games likeStardew Valley,Slime Rancher 2, and the aptly-namedFarming Simulatorseries, any gamer who’s a fan of the genre has no shortage of titles to try out at the moment. On top of all those big names, there’s a new guy coming to join the fight who may be able to compete with them all.

The game is calledNo Place Like Homeand the trailer announcing the game’s July 28 release date on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S went live on the publisher’s YouTube channel recently. The description of the game bills it as a “charming post-apocalyptic farming simulator.” The footage shows the player cleaning up a wasteland full of trash and gradually turning it into a peaceful and vibrant village full of animals, various houses, and crop fields. Ifthe game ever adds Wall-E it could be an adorable additionto the recycling mechanics.

The game has a number of interesting features, like the ability to find survivors out in the apocalyptic surroundings, recycle garbage into building materials, and throw a chicken disco. It seems both relaxing and endearing with cute animal and character designs, which makesNo Place Like Homea strange addition to the post-apocalyptic genre. The game puts the player character in the role of a “determined farmer tasked with rebuilding a ravaged world, starting with clearing away the mountains of trash that have piled up.” It’s already out for PC and Nintendo Switch, but the trailer officially sets the release date for when PlayStation and Xbox gamers can expect it on current-generation systems.

No Place Like Homeis being developed by Awaken Realms, which has been a pretty significant name in the board games scene, having put out popular titles likeNemesisand the tabletop version ofThis War of Mine, but is very new to digital gaming. The publisher is Merge Games, which has a pretty solid reputation for publishing quality indie titles, many of which go on to be extremely popular likeUltimate Chicken Horse,Darkest Dungeon, andDead Cellsalong with its recentReturn to CastlevaniaDLC.

No Place Like Homeis available now for PC and Switch, and is coming to PS5 and Xbox Series X/S on July 28.
