Considering the success of theSuper Smash Bros.franchise, it’s no surprise that other companies have attempted to copy the formula for their own franchises. This ranges fromsmaller-scale projects likeBrawlhallato big budget games likePlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale. And now the latest company to throw its hat in theSuper Smash Bros.ring is none other than Nickelodeon, the TV channel that specializes in children’s cartoons.

Nickelodeon has announcedNickelodeon All-Star Brawl, which is aSuper Smash Bros.-style fighting game starring characters from various Nickelodeon TV shows. As revealed by IGN,Nickelodeon All-Star Brawlis in development by Ludosity and Fair Play Labs for PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X, with plans to launch the game at some point this fall. The game was announced alongside a trailer that revealed some ofNickelodeon All-Star Brawl’s playable characters.

Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl’s roster will feature a wide-range of playable characters for fans to choose from. A full list of the confirmedNickelodeon All-Star Brawlcharacters so far can be found below, but in the meantime, some of the more notable characters include Leonardo and Michelangelo ofTeenage Mutant Ninja Turtlesfame, SpongeBob SquarePants, Reptar fromRugrats, Zim fromInvader Zim, andDanny Phantom.Here are all theNickelodeon All-Star Brawlcharacters confirmed so far:

According to IGN’s report,Nickelodeon All-Star Brawlwill have 20 stages, with Jellyfish Fields fromSpongeBob SquarePantsand theTechnodrome fromTeenage Mutant Ninja Turtlesnamed specifically. It seems fans will have to wait until we’re a little closer to launch before they will be able to find out more stages in an official capacity, but based on what’s shown in the trailer, it seems likely that there will be stages based on most of the characters on the roster.

This would keepNickelodeon All-Star Brawlin line with itsSuper Smash Bros.inspiration, which has a stage for each playable character’s franchise. TheSuper Smash Bros.influence is apparent withNickelodeon All-Star Brawl’s multiplayer focus as well, with the game supporting local and online multiplayer for four players.

This is far from the first time that a Nickelodeon game took inspiration from a Nintendo franchise. There have beenmultipleNickelodeon Kart Racersgamesthat clearly take inspiration fromMario Kart. Whether or notNickelodeon All-Star Brawlperforms any better than those previous games remains to be seen, but fans will find out later this year.
