Nobody Saves the Worldis the latest game from DrinkBox Studios, the team best known for its work on theGuacameleefranchise.Nobody Saves the World’s dungeon crawling action earned mostly positive reviewsat the time of its release earlier this year, with DrinkBox improving the experience in subsequent updates that addressed bugs and even added a local co-op mode.
TheNobody Saves the Worldlocal co-op updatewas greatly appreciated by fans, and soon they will have even more to check out in the game. As announced by IGN,Nobody Saves the Worldis getting a special DLC expansion on September 13 across all platforms calledFrozen Hearth. Retailing for $4.99, theNobody Saves the World Frozen HearthDLC, players gain access to a brand-new underground area.

While exploring this new underground area inNobody Saves the World, players will find themselves participating in an event called The Tempering, which consists of various “puzzles and challenges.” Some of these puzzles and challenges are on full display in theFrozen HearthDLC trailer, so fans can take a look at what the expansion has in store for them when it launches on September 13.
Players will be able to utilize theNobody Saves the Worldformsthat they unlocked in the base game while going through The Tempering, but they will also have access to two new forms as well. According to IGN, the newNobody Saves the Worldforms are the Killer Bee and Mechanic. Both forms are on display in theFrozen Hearthtrailer, soNobody Saves the Worldfans can see what they’re like in action ahead of the September 13 launch.
Besides new forms and challenges, there should be a lot more forNobody Saves the Worldfans to look forward to comeFrozen Hearth’s September 13 launch. While it’s unclear exactly how large this new underground area will be compared to theNobody Saves the World’s base game map, there should be no shortage of secrets for players to find. We also know that theFrozen HearthDLC will be adding a new mini-golf activity for players to enjoy with theirco-op partners, so that should be fun. It’s unclear if the new DLC will also be adding some fresh achievements for those that have already unlocked all ofNobody Saves the World’s achievements/trophies, but that should be specified as we get closer to the DLC’s release date next month.
Nobody Saves the Worldis out now for PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X. TheFrozen HearthDLC launches September 13 for all platforms.
