With Unholy Alliance just around the corner, the game’s publisher has revealed more about what players can expect next month.

Devolver Digital PR manager Andy Kelly explained how thelocal co-op inCult of the Lambwill work in a recentpost on the PlayStation Blog. Players can take control of either the game’s titular Lamb or a new companion character, the Goat, which Kelly described as being “summoned by blood and born in corruption.” Duos can explore dungeons and build their cults just like in any regular single-player session, but there will be changes in some minigames like Fishing and Knucklebones. Moreover, the Lamb and the Goat will have access to unique dynamics, such as being able to deal extra damage when fighting back-to-back or dealing a critical hit if their attacks are in sync.
