TheOne Punch Mananime and manga are both hugely popular, so it’s somewhat surprising that it’s taken this long for a console game based on the series. It may have taken years, butOne Punch Manfans can mark July 02, 2025 on their calendars as theOne Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knowsrelease date. Hardcore fans may even be tempted to pre-order the game, and if they do, they’ll be rewarded with some pre-order bonuses.

TheOne Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knowspre-order bonuses include an early access code for Saitama (Dream Version), Saitama (Jersey), Saitama (Black Suit), and a Saitama mask to customize their avatar with. TheOne Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knowspre-order bonuses consist largely of cosmetic items, though getting early access to the playable Saitama (Dream Version) character is interesting.

Saitama (Dream Version) was revealed alongside theOne Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knowsrelease date trailer. The character is essentially a nerfed version of Saitama that makes it so he can have competitive fights with the other characters in the game. This takes awaySaitama’s ability to defeat everything with “one punch,“which makes for some highly entertaining anime scenes, but maybe is not such a great idea for a video game.

However, it’s unclear what exactly Bandai Namco means by “early access code.” It is implying that Saitama (Dream Version) is DLC that will be added toOne Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knowspost-launch, or does it mean that players without the code will have to unlock the character in-game somehow? No clarification is available at the time of this writing, but some answers should come ahead of the game’s launch in February.

With or without Saitama (Dream Version),One Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knowsshould have plenty of playable charactersfor fans to choose from. Based on who’s been revealed so far, it seems as though the game features all the notable characters from the first season of the anime as playable characters in some form, and even some of the less-relevant characters as well. It’s possible that even more characters will be added as DLC, though that remains to be seen.

One Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knowswill launch on February 28 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
