Perhaps the best way to get Wishies and make Gummies inOobletsis to befriend the inhabitants of Badgetown. They are listed under the “Frenz” tab in the menu. They also give an assortment of stickers and gifts after the main character reaches a certain stage of friendship with them.

But building these friendships does not happen by itself. Many characters can be left at zero and remain at zero throughout the entire game. That’s passing up on some choice resources that will makeOobletsa much more enjoyable experience. Get started early on crafting permanent friendships!
Talk To Each Of The Frenz Once Per Day
There is no denying the chill vibe inOoblets. It’s one ofthe perfect games to play while listening to a podcast. Get into a nice routine of visiting potential friends in the main Badgetown village and chat them up. Look for the white sphere above their heads which indicates that speaking to them will increase the friendship meter.

Not every inhabitant has the possibility of becoming a friend. These characters won’t have icons above their heads, so feel free to ignore them (or only chat with them for fun). Each of the friends can be spoken to once per day for more experience, so don’t bother repeatedly bothering them.
Completing Tasks
At various times, friends will ask that the character fetch them something. Occasionally, it’s their lost ooblet (hopefully it’s notabandoned in the Wildlands), on a crop they’d like to have, or a drink. Completing the task is a massive boost to the friendship level.

These tasks should have a high priority because those who gave the request won’t accept a daily conversation until the task is turned in. So the longer these tasks sit uncompleted, the further behind the friend will be.
Giving A Daily Gift
After fixing up the Hankerbot, gamers will start each day off with a letter that tells the character which character would like a specific gift. Gift-giving does not work for any character unless the Hankerbot says so and the gift needs to be delivered that same day.
For those who forget what the gift was and who it goes to, the “Frenz” tab in the journal will show an icon of the desired object next to the portrait of the recipient. Equip it to the toolbelt and press the “Gift” button to give it to the friend. It’s a huge burst of experience, on par with completing a task, and it can be done once per day.

Oobletsis available now for PC, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
