Redditor CaligoMilites showed off their impressive Lapras and Aurorus fusion art with thePokemoncommunity online, who were impressed to say the least. The new design, dubbed “Auropras,” is a dual-type Water / Ice Pokemon, and is described as “A Pokemon that lives in the cold regions of the world. When the moonlight hits its ice crystals, a veil of light is created that resembles Aurora Borealis.” The visuals of the new design are fantastic, combining the coolest elements of both, but the fact that CaligoMilites has even created some newPokemonlorehere takes this piece of fan art to the next level.
Pokemon Lapras and Aurorus Fusion Art
While they make for a cool combination, Lapras and Aurorus are two Pokemon on different ends of the popularity scale. Lapras has been around since Generation 1, while Aurorus was introduced in Generation 6. This means that fans have had a lot more time to get familiar with Lapras, making it a much more popular choice when it comes to community creations. There was even onePokemonfan who made an impressive Lapras model out of bike chains, which was a very unique way to pay tribute to the iconic Pokemon.
