Reddit user scrazyone1 shared their new designs with the internet of Bulbasaur, Ivysaur, and Venusaur reimagined asHalloween-themed Pokemon. Scrazyone1 chose to create them as 3D models, making them look like they’ve popped straight out of a game. As one can see, each iteration of the Grass/Poison-type family now has a pumpkin in place of the usual bulb on its back. Each pumpkin has a face like a jack-o-lantern. Bulbasaur and its evolutions themselves are also decorated with skull and bones designs, with Bulbasaur’s face almost completely obscured by a skull pattern. As the Pokemon evolves, the bones become less prominent, while the pumpkin becomes larger and more menacing looking.

The creator also makes the 3D model’s files available for anyone who wants to print them out as physical figurines through their Patreon account.

It’s not a big surprise thatPokemonfans love the creations, as the series has always had a bit of a spookiness to it. Between thePokemonseries' unsolved mysteries andcreepy Pokedex entries, the mostly lighthearted games seem to always have something slightly disturbing lingering underneath.

Adding Halloween evolutions variants or even new skins forevery single Pokemonwould be a difficult task for the developers with the series encompassing so many of them now. However,Pokemonfans will likely always be there to step in with creative ideas when autumn chill’s is on the approach.
