The latest trio of tier 5 Raid Bosses soaring intoPokemon GOare thedraconic trio of creatures fromPokemon BlackandPokemon White. Throughout the end of May and most of June, trainers will have the opportunities to visit Gyms or use Remote Raid Passes to battle the trio of powerful creatures and add them to their own collection. Reshiram is up first, but it will only be a few short weeks before Zekrom soars into Gyms.
The Reshiram raids began just a few days ago on May 26 and will carry on through June 16. At that point, Zekrom will take over andPokemon GOplayers will need toshift to a Ground-, Ice-, Dragon-, and Fairy-type roster buildfor tier 5 Battle Raids. In addition to taking over the standard rotation on June 16, Zekrom will also be featured in a series of weekly Raid Hours.

The Deep Black Pokemon will appear in Raid Hour events on June 17, June 24, and July. Players who want to battle Zekrom in regular tier 5 raids will have at least a few weeks to challenge the Pokemon, but for now Niantic has not announced an end date for the Zekrom rotation or when Kyurem will take over the spotlight position.

StartingTuesday, June 06, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. PDT (GMT −7), Zekrom, the Deep Black Pokémon, will be waiting for you to challenge it in five-star raids. In addition, there will be Raid Hour events featuring Zekrom every Wednesday while it’s in five-star raids.
Wednesday, June 30, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. local time
Wednesday, June 07, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. local time
Wednesday, August 11, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. local time
Be sure to have your Remote Raid Passes stocked and Ground-, Ice-, Dragon-, and Fairy-type Pokémon ready for battle.
There will likely be more details about Kyurem’s takeover sometime in the later half of June. At this point, players should have plenty on their plate between Reshiram raids and the upcomingfinal phase of the Throwback Celebration.
