In Japanese, the title can be written as “Pokemon! Kimi ni Aeteyokatta!” Compare that to thevery firstPokemonanime episode, back in 1997, which was titled “Pokemon! Considering the parallels between the first and latestPokemonanime episode titles, there’s a belief the title implies this is either a show finale or the end of Ash’s arc as the anime’s protagonist. The other two episode titles are being seen as contributory evidence, too. “Project Mew” could meanAsh or Goh will catch Mew, one of the anime’s longest goals – to catch a Legendary Pokemon. “Seize the Future,” in turn, could mean a transition for Ash or potentially even him handing the reigns of the anime to Goh.
