Since the release ofPokemon Legends: Arceus,Pokemonfans have been creating their own unique challenges in the game beyond doing Research Tasks and completing the Pokedex. OnePokemon Legends: Arceusplayer has decided to start their own challenge in which they sit with the seated Pokemon in the open landscapes of the Nintendo Switch game.

Reddit user Charizauce recently posted several images of their adventures inPokemon Legends: Arceus' Hisui region, stating that they’re “challenging” themselves to take screenshots with as many sitting wild Pokemon as possible.Pokemongames are no strangers to Pokemon in the overworld, withPokemon Sword and Shieldfocusing on the feature with its Wild Area, but Hisui is the first region that shows the Pokemon taking brief breaks as they roam the open landscapes. Charizauce’s challenge also gives thePokemon Legends: Arceusplayer an excuse to revisit the different biomes of the game which are shown off in their screenshots.

Skuntank plops its butt down in front of a dead tree in a barren and flat part of the Crimson Mirelands in Charizauce’s first image of part two of their sitting challenge. Returning to the Obsidian Fieldlands, Charizauce sneaks around behind Mr. Mime, who fittingly looks to be floating on an invisible chair that’s angled away from thePokemon Legends: Arceusplayer. ThePokemoncommunity knowsEevee evolves into several formsdepending on conditions, and it’s found in mostPokemon Legends: Arceusbiomes but is highlighted as a Fieldlands Pokemon in Charizauce’s final sitting challenge photo.

Since posting theirPokemon Legends: Arceuschallenge to Reddit, severalPokemonfans have speculated on which Pokemon will be the hardest to sneak up on to catch them off guard as Charizauce’s has with the six aforementioned Pokemon. While most of thePokemon Legends: ArceusPokemon should eventually be seen sitting to take a break, Charizauce may have a hard time finding some in the same position, notably the Water-type Pokemon. It’s currently unclear how many Pokemon the Charizauce sitting challenge encompasses, but the player intends to find more seated Pokemon to screenshot before the release ofPokemon Scarlet and Violet.
