Pokemon Scarlet and Violetreleased its long-awaited version 1.3.0 update, which fixed a number of outstanding bugs and issues that plagued the game for some time. The update arrived just nearly two months afterPokemon Scarlet and Violetversion 1.2.0, which itself was mired in controversy after some bugs came to light.
After version 1.2.0 ofPokemon Scarlet and Violetwas released,a bug was uncovered that corrupted game saves. This bug reportedly occurred after a few players preorderedThe Hidden Treasure of Area ZeroDLC or took advantage of thePokemon GOconnectivity feature that was added with the update. Though this bug was not widely reported, Nintendo and The Pokemon Company worked to replicate the bug in order to find a fix and even offered repairs to affected players. With the release of version 1.3.0, Pokemon trainers can rest easy knowing that the save corruption bug, and other issues, were addressed.
