In order to ace as many Tera Raid battles as possible, Reddit user Nommable123 has come up with a near-perfect strategy to quickly take down as many event Pokemon as possible. The player shared a clip of themselvesdefeating Samurott in the latestPokemon Scarlet and VioletTera Raidevent in the first turn with a single attack. Tauros uses Flare Blitz, and Samurott the Unrivaled instantly goes down.

Most gamers in the comments section were quite impressed and wanted to learn how to use it so they could attempt it themselves. Throughout the short battle, Tauros is the only Pokemon to actually attack the Samurott; the other Pokemon on the team are only there to provide support and boost Tauros’s physical Attack stat. In acompetitive Pokemon team, support Pokemon are just as important as offensive Pokemon.

The creator of the strategy shares that the main objective is to power up Tauros in order to deal as much damage as possible per turn. Koraidon, Meowscarada, and Stonjourner all hold a Focus Sash to guarantee that they won’t go down on the first turn of the battle, and none of them have to be high-leveled or trained in any stats for this strategy to work. Meowscarada uses Flower Trick on Tauros to trigger its Anger Point ability and boost its Attack stat to +6. Stonjourner uses Attack Cheer, and its Power Spot ability increases Tauros’s damage output by 30 percent, and, on top of this, Koraidon uses Helping Hand to increase Tauros’s damage output by 50 percent. This player has also tried other innovative strategies during previous raids such as therecent Decidueye Tera Raid battle.
