How To Get Bonsly in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet
Bonsly can be found in a few locations inPokemon Scarlet & Violet, thoughit won’t spawn in the rain. It doesn’t run away like its evolution, so players can catch one slightly more easily in the following locations:
How To Evolve Bonsly in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet
Bonsly hasa slightly unique evolution method. In order to evolve it into Sudowoodo, it must know the move Mimic. It learns Mimic on its own at Level 16, so it shouldn’t be too much of a problem for players. If a player has caught a Bonsly over Level 16 that doesn’t have Mimic, or if they’ve selected the option to forget the move, there is something that can be done.

to teach it a forgotten move, players must go to the Bonsly’s summary, navigate to the ‘Moves’ page, and press ‘Y’. From there, a menu with three different options will pop up: ‘forget a move’, ‘remember old moves’, or ‘learn a move from TMs’. Selecting ‘remember old moves’ will bring the player to a list that should have Mimic on it, provided the Bonsly is over Level 16.

Sudowoodo is incredibly limited in spawn location, only appearing in two places, though it is prevalent in the Casseroya Lake area. It won’t spawn if it’s raining and will run away from the player if they get near. The best way to combat this is tothrow a Pokeball at itas soon as it’s seen or simply charge at it with Koraidon/Miraidon:
