Back when weapon customizations and fancy charms weren’t a thing, the originalResident Evil 4had a rather extensive list of weapon attachments that could improve Leon’s arsenal.
Now, in 2023, the remake ofRE4revives the same energy by introducing a batch of tactical and esthetical add-ons. In the new game, players can bring back the good ol' laser sight, increase their favorite weapon’s precision, or magnify the farthest targets with exclusive gun parts. Here’s how it works.

List of All Weapon Attachments and Parts in RE4 Remake
In total, there are seven weapon attachments in theResident Evil 4remake: The Scope, Laser Sight, TMP Stock, High-Power Scope, Red9 Stock, Matilda Stock, and Biosensor Scope. And except for the Biosensor Scope, which can be obtained for free in Chapter 13, all weapon parts arepurchasable from the Merchant.
Merchant
Scope
A regular 2x sight,the Scope is the first weapon attachmentthe player comes across. It first appears at the Merchant site in Chapter 2, when Leon can buy the SR M1903 and get the Scope for free. In later Chapters, the player must pay 4,000 Pesetas to get this rifle part.
The scope is compatible with the following:
Laser Sight
TheLaser Sight is a handgun attachmentthat changes the crosshair with red laser light. Once mounted onto a handgun, the Laser Sight increases accuracy and helps target acquisition. To get this weapon part, the player must pay 10 Spinels to the Merchant in Chapter 2 or later.
The Laser Sight is compatible with the following:
TMP Stock
As an exclusive attachment, the TMP Stock increases the TMP submachine gun’s accuracy while reducing its recoil. Like the Red9 and Matilda Stocks, it only mounts onto one weapon, and the only way to acquire it is bypaying 8 Spinels to the Merchantin Chapter 3 or later.
The TMP Stock is compatible with the following:
Red9 Stock
The stock for Red9 is a wooden piece that mounts ontothe back of the Red9’s grip. It boosts the handgun’s precision while improving its shot grouping. But unlike the gun, there’s no way to get the Red9 stock for free. The player must pay 9 Spinels to the Merchant in Chapter 3 or later.
The Red9 Stock is compatible with the following:
High-Power Scope
An advanced version of the regular Scope, the High-Power Scope is a 3x rifle sight with improved magnification. It first unlocks in Chapter 4 afterdefeating the lake monster. And the player must pay 7 Spinels to purchase it from the Merchant.
The High-Power Scope is compatible with the following:
Matilda Stock
The stock for the Matilda handgun unlocks in Chapter 8, and the player can purchase it from the Merchant for 12 Spinels (it is the most expensive weapon attachment in theRE4remake). What makes this stock unique is its special perk that allows the Matilda to fire three-round shots.

Biosensor Scope
Also known as the Thermal Sight,the Biosensor Scope is an infrared devicethat exposes heat-emitting entities. It is the only free weapon attachment in the game that can be obtained in Chapter 13 from the Incubation Lab on the Island.

How to Equip Weapon Parts in RE4 Remake
To mount an attachment onto a gun, open the inventory, hover over the weapon, press A (X on PlayStation), and select Parts. Finally, toggle on the desired weapon part and close the window. To remove an attachment, repeat the same process and toggle the weapon part off.
