Many fans have complained about theResident Evil 4island section over the years, feeling it to be a step-down from the quality of gameplay found in the game’s beginning and middle areas.
The island returning in theResident Evil 4remake is not surprising, though some fans may be disappointed to get confirmation that it is indeed making a comeback. On the bright side, it seems that Capcom is aware of how some fans weren’t impressed by the island and could be addressing some of that feedback. There will apparently be “a lot more to” the island intheResident Evil 4remake, so it will be interesting to see exactly what that means.
It’s possible Capcom will show off theResident Evil 4remake’s take on the island section in pre-launch footage, but otherwise fans may have to wait for the game to launch. Luckily, theResident Evil 4remake release dateis right around the corner, so fans will soon be able to check it out for themselves.
