Capcom is known to make fighting game-related announcements during big tournaments, and this is just such a situation.
Second, a notable Capcom-adjacent Twitter account retweeted the announcement of the countdown from Capcom. The Capcom Cap-Jams account, the team responsible for recentStreet Fightergame music, shared the post along with a couple of pairs of emoji eyes. This could very well just be Capcom brands trying to build up excitement for the reveal, but the countdown wasn’t retweeted by the Resident Evil or Monster Hunter accounts, at the very least.

That the countdown is potentially forStreet Fighter 6is entirely a rumor, of course. There’s no clear indication that the announcement is for Street Fighter 6, or that it’s evenStreet Fighter-related.
