Sea of Thievesis enjoying a strong surge in popularity, and that’s saying something. The Rare-developed pirate game has had a strong past two years, even if its launch didn’t exactly land well with everyone. Either way, it’s clear the developer is making the most of it, asSea of Thieves’ crossovers have thus far been quite impressive.
Recently, for example,Sea of Thievesreleased massive crossover content withPirates of the Caribbean. If any pirate fans were hesitant to check it out beforehand, adding Jack Sparrow and more content did a lot to invite new and returning players back to the game. While much smaller in scope in comparison,Sea of Thievesdeveloper Rare has confirmed the game’s next crossover as part of Xbox’s Gamescom event.
