In less than a full week since the official launch,Sifuhas garnered over 500,000 players across PC, PS4, and PS5. There’s little doubt thatSony pushing this indie gamehas helped it quite a bit, but what keeps fans is the core content of the game. Another important aspect, at least in the PC community, is the ability to mod the game.
With its martial arts premise,Sifuhas a lot of room for unique mods outside the standard Thomas the Train, Shrek, and CJ fromGrand Theft Autoshenanigans that happen with every game. For example, aJohn Wick modwas recently released that fits perfectly into the world ofSifu, and now two other mods are making waves for fitting into the world flawlessly too.

Discovered by TheGamer, Modder Sirgalahad172 has made a mod based on Netflix’s Daredevil, while another, Claymaver, has added Scooby Doo’s Shaggy Rogers to the game. The former is shown off in the video below by Sirgalahad172, during the rain fight sequence inSifu’s third level, The Museum.
Not only do the moves fit well, if not exactly, intoDaredevil’s particularly fighting style(omitting some of the most generalized boxing skills), but the rain and dodge all fit well into his character. Plus, given Daredevil’s popular hallway scene and the focus on a few hallway fights inSifu, it’s pretty much a given mod for the game.

Claymaver’s Shaggy Rogers is no less surprising to see inSifuthan it is Daredevil, especially after Ultra Instinct Shaggy became a meme. Essentially, it’s a gaming world topic where Shaggy obtains powers of Ultra Instinct fromDBZand becomes a powerful god, like Beerus. Memes aside, this made a huge splash when there was a hugepetition to add Shaggy Rogers toMortal Kombat 11(which in and of itself is one of the reasons that Warner Bros is making a crossover fighting game inMultiVersus).

If there’s anything certain when it comes to PC gaming, it’s that mods will continue to dominate. These are just two examples of various mods already made forSifu, and they certainly stand out from the crowd. But asSifu’s popularity and accessibilitycontinue to grow, there’s a strong chance fans can expect to see more and more mods on the horizon.
Sifuis available now on PC, PS4, and PS5.
