Since the first reveal ofGhost of Tsushimaat E3 2018, excitement has been surrounding the title. Initial trailers have set up a beautiful samurai world based in the 13th century Japan and as a result,the game has been one of the most anticipated of the year. This anticipation looks set to build after Shu Yoshida published his comments on the game.
Ghost of Tsushimais being developed by Sucker Punch Productions who achieved considerable acclaim for theInfamousgame series and this new project looks set to be a thematic departure from previous titles from the company. The popular employee of Sony is likely to have had first-hand experience with the game and this adds validity to the statement rather than it being based purely on conjecture from teased gameplay. Yoshida has a large following online and as a key personality at Sony, as a result, his support has increased excitement forGhost of Tsushimayet again.
The PlayStation 5 has a series of exciting games coming in 2020includingCyberPunk 2077andThe Last of Us Part 2. With this in mind, labelingGhost of Tsushimaas a possible game of the year will be considered a huge statement by fans who are interested in the title. It will be interesting to see if the game can satisfy players when it releases as expectations have become increasingly high.
Ghost of Tsushimahas faced several delaysbut it now seems that players won’t have too long to wait before they can experience the game which explores an open-world Feudal Japan.
