Best Builds forSplatoon 3Splatana
Splatana Wiper
Getting the first Splatana is relatively easy. All players have to do to break the Splatana out is reach level five, and it will be available for purchase with a Sheldon Ticket. The advantage of the Splatana is that it is very powerful in close-range combat. It deals 30 damage from a regular slash, 60 from a fully charged slash. To splat a player, a weapon needs to deal 100 damage. This makes the Splatana a high-damage weapon, but not one that can splat in a single hit.
Because of its medium-sized range, the Splatana can work as both a close combat weapon and as something that players can battle with from a short distance. The attacks from the Splatana are very fast, which makes it viable for close combat almost exclusively. Unfortunately, the Splatanadoesn’t have much inking power,as it can only cover one straight line of ink at a time, with very little splash damage otherwise. This makes the Splatana a great weapon for splatting, but not so useful for much else on the battlefield. Concerning optimal modes, a Splatana may be best for modes outside of Turf War, those that require high splat counts and objective pushing.

With the Torpedo, the Splatana has a tiny amount of ranged potential that players can use to force enemies back before the splat. With a combination of the Torpedo, paired with long-range horizontal flicks, the Splatana can sneak kills without needing to get as close as a Roller or Carbon Roller. The Splatana alsohas the Ultra Stamp as a special, making it a great weapon for aggressive frontal assaults on the enemy team.

There are many clothing options for the Splatana that can help make it a great weapon for an aggressive player. Abilities like Comeback, Stealth Jump, Swim Speed Up, and Quick Super Jump all can help players get back into the action, even if they are splatted multiple times. This helps keep them on the front lines, where a Splatana can do the most damage. Other abilities to consider, such as Ink Recovery Up, Ink Saver, and Ink Resistance Up, help with navigation. Saving ink as much as possible while staying mobile and aggressive can help a Splatana player perform at their best, without needing to take as many breaks to refill ink or recover from hits.
Recommended Clothing Abilities:
Splatana Stamper
The Splatana Stamper is a powered-up version of the wiper, with a cool chainsaw design and heightened damage potential. The Stamper takes a little more time to unlock in comparison to the original Wiper but still comes into availability relatively early. Players can unlock the Splatana Stamper starting at level 15, and it costs one Sheldon Ticket. If players are dead set on buying it early, they can do so for a few extra Sheldon Tickets, depending on their level. As players might suspect, the Stamper is a harder-hitting yet slower version of the Splatana and has more than a few drawbacks.
The Splatana Stamper is a damage-dealing machine designed for precision and one-shot splats. With 35 damage in the horizontal slash, players can accumulate damage quickly from a distance by taking advantage of the Stamper’s longer range. The Stamper can reach farther than the Wiper, making it more capable as a medium-range weapon by a long shot. The charge slash on the Stamper also does more than the Wiper, scoring 70 damage instead of 60. With a direct hit followed by a horizontal swipe from the Stamper, players can use this version of the Splatana to rack up splats and keep a tight hold on the points of interest on a battlefield.

The Splatana comes with aBurst Bomb as its sub-weapon, which makes it great for stacking minor chip damage right before dealing a finishing blow. The burst bomb does just enough damage to make a quick hit from one in combination with a charged slash stack up to a splat quickly. However, the Stamper has the Zipcaster as a special. While this makes a player more mobile, the Stamper overall is a slow weapon. Great skill, timing, and a degree of planning are required to make the Stamper work more effectively with a Zipcaster special. However, if a player knows how to use the Splatana Stamper properly, having the Zipcaster special on hand can make for a devastating front-line blow, catching enemies by surprise by bursting into their front lines.

There are many good abilities to consider for running the Splatana Stamper. If aplayer wants to focus on navigating wellwith the Zipcaster as a special, or just in general, some abilities to consider would be Drop Roller, Quick Super Jump, Stealth Jump, and Swim Speed Up. Being able to jump quickly, stealthily, and have a little roll at the end of a landing can help make a frontal assault more potent, no matter if a player gets splatted a few times or not. If a player wants to be more conservative about their attacks, getting some abilities that help them save ink and resist damage can be good for the Stamper as well. Some other abilities to consider for the Splatana Stamper include Ink Recovery Up, Ink Resistance Up, and Ink Saver. Because the Stamper uses quite a bit of ink with each shot (especially the charged ones) players may want to invest in some ink-saving abilities that keep them fighting without needing to refill.
