To start off the franchise’s “Spyroversary” month, the official Twitter account revealed the sales figures forSpyro Reignited Trilogy, where it has managed to cross 10 million units sold globally, across all four platforms. TheSpyrofranchise’s best-selling game would be the original PlayStation 1 title, where it managed to sell five million copies in its lifetime. TheSpyrofranchise has been in a bit of a dormant state after the trilogy remaster, with the only notable thing regarding Spyro in the last few years was him being added toCrash Team Racing Nitro-Fueledback in 2019. While there was somehints that Spyro might be making a comebackthis year, nothing has materialized yet. With the franchise’s 25th anniversary later this September, maybe something could be revealed, but this is just speculation for now.
