Starfield Players Think Bethesda Cut an Entire Ship Brand Out of the Game

Now, a gamer called Bamboozleprime started an interesting theory: that Bethesda cut the Trident brand of ships at the last minute. According to Bamboozleprime, it’s possible to visit the Trident Star Yard inStarfieldand the salesman will talk about Trident ships. The people there will explain that these are very expensive, luxury ships, and even talk about how they compare to other brands such as Deimos. However, this little world-building dialogue falls flat as players can’t actually buy these ships, and the Star Yard is only useful for a single side quest, which hints at cut content, in Bamboozleprime’s opinion.

This theory became pretty popular, as Bamboozleprime’s post gained over 1,800 upvotes on r/Starfield. In the comments of the post, some gamers pointed out that there is, in fact, a Trident ship in the game, but it’s not obtainable. Some Redditors speculated that maybe Trident ships could be available in future DLC. AsStarfieldhas multiple DLCexpansions on the way, that’s not a very far-fetched idea, but it’s impossible to know before an official announcement.

While some players may be wondering why they can’t purchase Trident ships,Starfieldhas a comprehensive ship-building system, so gamers can at least build something that looks similar. Others, however, may use this system to create wacky ship builds. One player recently created aStarfieldship that looks like a vacuum cleaner, which looks unique, but not very well suited for combat due to its lack of firepower. Others have also devised some very funny creations inspired byPokemon,Power Rangers, snakes, hot dogs, and the even Empire State Building.
