Players have long been awaiting more news aboutTales of Arise, and now they finally have it. As part of the Summer Game Fest 2021 Kickoff Live event, Bandai Namco Entertainment shared a new trailer for the game. This intense showcasegives players a better idea of who the characters they’ll be playing in the game areand what the story will be like. The trailer offers an intense look at what fans can expect in the newTales ofgame, and reaffirms that it is still releasing on September 10th.

As the next entry in the long runningTales ofseries, there are high expectations forTales of Arise. If the game is anything like the trailer, it seems as though it will be able to live up to those expectations. Players are introduced to a fantastical world like they’ve come to expect from this series, but treated with some more in depth character descriptions. It also shows off a little bit more of the three dimensional gameplay style of the combat inTales of Arise.

The trailer shows off several of the new playable characters, including Dohalim and Kisara, and gives a little bit more background on thestruggle between the Dahna and the Rena. These two divided worlds  are coexisting, but this peace is now threatened. Dohalim is a polearm user, and explains that his only priority is maintaining peace between the two realms. This certainly seems like a noble goal, but there is always two sides toTales ofcharacters. Kisara is a knight, and uses her massive shield to protect herself and her allies. Her goal is simple, she fights to protect her dream. What that dream is remains to be seen.

Players can view the new Tales of Arise trailer above. It’s an intense experience that will help players get ready for the eventual release of the game on September 10th. The motif of challenging fate returns once again, with themain characters Alphen and Shionnegathering a party together to do just that. It’s going to be up to the players to determine the fate of these two worlds. Finally, the mysterious Black Knight also makes another appearance here, locking swords with Alphen once again. He clearly takes in interest in both Alphen and the party’s goals, so it will be interesting to learn more about what his own motives are.
