The First Descendanthas a lot of Modules for players to get their hands on. In fact, they make up one of the most extensive mechanics in the entire game. Players will be finding all kinds of Modules to use with their Descendants, as well as character-specific ones. They will also be findingModules designed specifically for the weaponsthey use.
While players will have many different weapons using many different kinds of ammo, they will only be able to useMental Focuson weapons that it specifies. General Rounds include Machine Guns, Submachine Guns, Assault Rifles, and Handguns. Special Rounds include Beam Rifles and Tactical Rifles.
How To Farm Mental Focus In The First Descendant
There are a lot of places where players can get these Modules, so much so that it is recommended they just play through the game as normal first to see if they’ll drop naturally. The first chance of getting theGeneral Roundsversion of this Module will be from playing through theSterile Landon Normal, and the Special Rounds version will be onVersperson Normal. Both of these will offer their second chance by playing throughHagioson Normal. If players did not get these Modules during their initial playthrough of these locations, then it is time to pick thebest mission to farmthem. Players might evenget the Action and Reaction Modulein the process of progressing through the Sterile Land.
Different missions will offer different options for how to get Modules, and while getting them to drop from an enemy might sound appealing, having a mission players can wrap up quickly that offers Mental Focus as a completion reward is a huge bonus — such as playingRuins Modification Baseon Hagios on Hardfor the Special Rounds version, or by playingRansacked Village on Hagios on Hard for the General Roundsversion. This will give them a 5% chance to get Mental Focus with each completion, which should take around 5 minutesif using Bunny.
Players can get the Special Rounds version of this module from Swamp Walker, so if players have any Amorphous Material for that colossi, they should try their luck at getting it to drop at the same time.
What Does Mental Focus Do In The First Descendant?
Mental Focus might seem like it suffers a negative feature, but this so-called ‘negative’ actually helps the user out. This Module willlower the weapon’s fire rateand increase its damage by multiple stacks that are gained from firing the weapon.
This can allow the user to get more of their shots to connect from the slower fire rate and build up more stacks for more damage. Reloading will reset this. Players shouldget themselves a Tamer Machine gunwhile they are at it, as it pairs unbelievably well with the General Rounds version of this Module.
