Supermassive’s 2015 hitUntil Dawnintroduced players to a dark, thrilling world in which their decisions could mean the difference between life and death. In its spiritual sequel,The Quarry,the stakes have gotten even higher, with a larger cast of characters whose lives hang by the thread of every decision the player makes.
With the grim opening of the game’s Prologue out of the way,The Quarryturns its attention to the rest of the game’s core cast in Chapter 1. Most of the focus here is on introducing a little backstory, developing the personalities of the camp counselors, and setting the stage for the grim events to come, but that isn’t to say that there’s nothing to find here. Indeed, players looking to solve all the game’s mysteries and understand its lore have a variety of clues and other collectibles to track down.

Collectible #1 - Hunting Notice Clue
Unlike most of the counselors at Hackett’s Quarry, Jacob has no intention of letting the summer end so soon. Emma hasn’t returned his affection, and he wants one more chance at winning her heart before they separate for the year. Jacob has a conversation with Kaitlyn, and thenthe player takes controlof him and has a chance to explore.

Behind the wooden fence, in front of the green car, the player will find the first clue in chapter one, the Hunting Notice.
Collectible #2 - Camp Plaque Clue
Heading up the stairs, the player will find the second clue, the Camp Plaque, on the wall to the left of the main door. At least here Jacob won’t have the chance tomake any bad decisions.
Collectible #3 - Temperance Tarot Card
To get the Temperance Tarot card, the player needs to follow the porch around the cabin to the left of the main door. Using the last window on the left side the player can gain entrance to the cabin. Once inside, cross the room and enter the cantina. From there turn right and enter the kitchen. The Temperance Tarot card is right inside.

Before the player transitions from controlling Jacob to controlling Abigail, they’ll be given a choice as to what car part to sabotage. It’s important to choose to remove the rotor arm, as doing so is necessary in order to pick up another piece of evidence in Chapter 3.
Collectible #4 - Newspaper Headline Scrap Clue
After Jacob sabotages the car,control transitions to Abigail.She’s spending her last free moments of the summer hanging out on the steps of one of the cabins, which is where Emma finds her. In order to get the next piece of evidence, the player needs to choose to Break In option, gaining access to Cabin 10.

Behind the first row of beds, on the left side of the cabin, the player will find the next clue, the Newspaper Headline Scrap.
Collectible #5 - Camp Song Recording Clue
Heading back outside from Cabin 10 and entering the courtyard, the next clue is on the right side. Leaning against the stairs leading up to Cabin 8, the player will find the Camp Song Recording.
Collectible #6 - Information Signpost Clue
From here the player must turn around. In the center of the courtyard is the Information Signpost which the player can investigate, securing the last clue of Chapter 1 and taking the playerthat much closer toThe Quarry’s finale.
Collectible #7 - Empty Vial Evidence
The seventh and final collectible in Chapter 1 is the Empty Vial Evidence. It’s not far from the Information Signpost, so it’s easy to find.
Move close to the large tree and interact with it while standing near the glowing spot on the ground to find the Empty Vial. Once the Evidence has been found, the player is free to concentrate on the story,enjoyingThe Quarry’s banter and developing relationshipsfor the rest of Chapter 1.
