Additionally, she would also give fans a pretty good reason for the long schedule, saying “We’re making, basically, eight movies… The episodes are very long.”

While the series was already pretty much guaranteed to be released in 2025 at the earliest, Hawke’s description of the progress seems to suggest that it won’t be an early release regardless. While the idea of each episode being worked on to cinematic degrees says a lot of good things about the quality, there’s no doubt that such an undertaking will involve a lot of time as well as effort. If many recent projects are anything to go by, reshoots might also eventually be in order and after all that is done, there’s going to be a veritable mountain of post-processing work for the team to get through.
