Valheimplayers will need to find the different types of ore in the game to create metals at the Smelter. Metals can then be used to craft weapons, armor, and other items. Bronze and silver metal are used to craft weapons and armor. Flametal ore can be smelted into Flametal, but there are currently no items that can be crafted with it. Before players set out to farm ore, they must defeat the first boss in the game to obtain a pickaxe. Ore cannot be mined without the basic pickaxe.
