Inspired by the real-life FN SCAR series, the TAQ-V is a gas-operated short-stroke battle rifle inWarzone 2. It is currently considered one of the deadliest BRs in the META, outperforming Lachmann-762, Cronen Squall, and FTAC Recon. But as with any heavy-duty weapon, the base TAQ-V receiver comes with a high recoil that may seem untamable to the newWarzone 2players.

Since the TAQ-V does well without an aim sight and laser, it’s best to enhance it with recoil and control attachments like underbarrels and rear grips.

The ideal build for TAQ-V is the Sakin Tread-40 muzzle, 18” Precision-6 barrel, FTAC Ripper 56 underbarrel, FSS Combat rear grip, and the 50-Round Drum magazine.

To create the ideal loadout for the TAQ-V, players will need to pair it with an SMG as the secondary andequip speed-improving perks.
Secondary Weapon
Currently,ISO 45 is the META secondary for the TAQ-V. It compensates for the BR’s sluggish ADS, providing reliable lethal force in close-range combat.
Perks
The best perks for the TAQ-V are Overkill, Fast Hand, Double Time, and High Alert. With Overkill, players get to pick a proper secondary for this battle rifle, while High Alert gives a reaction advantage to the operator. The other perks, however, balance the loadout’s speed.
Equipment
For the Tactical Equipment, players are advised to go with Smoke Grenades. However, since the TAQ-V is often used in mid- and long-range battles, they’re better off withGrenades as their Lethal Equipment.
