Fans have already seen what happens when a group of soldiers went to a zombie-infested Las Vegas and tried to rob an underground vault on the popular Strip.Army of Thieveswill now show them what happens when a group of extremely smart hackers and thieves come together to rob banks across Europe, which is slowly being overrun by the undead. Of course,Army of Thieveswill focus less on the zombies, with the priority being the heists.
The new trailer offers a look atthisArmy of the Deadprequel, where Dieter is hired by a team of professionals, lead by Nathalie Emmanuel’s Gwendoline, to get into some very tricky vaults. The video begins with him winning a safecracking competition and being scouted by Gwendoline immediately after. Even though he claims to not be a criminal, he is immediately interested in the plan because it involves a lot of money and a “life less ordinary.” Additionally, the world is obviously distracted by the zombie apocalypse, which offers the team the perfect window to go in and out of several banks without being detected. Apart from Gwendoline and Dieter, theArmy of Thievesteam consists of Ruby O. Fee as Korina the master hacker, Guz Khan as Rolph the getaway driver, and Stuart Martin as Brad Cage, their real-life action hero.
The team discovers the location of three of the world’s most important and secure safes. All of them happen to be under the ownership of “infamous billionaire” Bly Tanaka, played by Hiroyuki Sanada. Fans will remember him fromArmy of the Dead, as he is the one responsible for sending the team of soldiers into Las Vegas.
