World of Warcraft ClassicSeason of Discovery Phase 2 introduces Skill Books, a new mechanic that complements the Rune system introduced in the game mode’s initial Phase. Skill Books allow players to unlock unique quality-of-life improvements for their character which, depending on the class, offer a passive bonus or active ability.
Unlike Runes, whose use is constrained by theavailable Rune slots on aWoWSoD character, any Skill Books that players find for their class can be used without any limitations.WoWSoD Phase 2 features a total of 13 unique Skill Books across each of its nine classes. Here’s where players can locate these books, along with the benefits of each, in Phase 2 ofWorld of Warcraft ClassicSeason of Discovery.
Where to Find all Skill Books in WoW SoD Phase 2
All 13 Skill Books in WoW SoD aredrops within its level 30+ 5-player dungeons, including Scarlet Monastery, Razorfen Downs, and Uldaman. Each book may drop from bosses and rare elites in thevarious wings ofWorld of Warcraft’s Scarlet Monastery(including Graveyard, Library, Armory, or Cathedral) and from bosses and elites in Razorfen Downs and Uldaman. Below, we’ve identified the bosses with the highest confirmed drop rates for each Skill Book.
Skill Books are not a guaranteed drop, so you may have to complete multiple dungeon clears before you obtain the book. Skill Books areBind on Pickup inWorld of Warcraftand will only drop for the corresponding class in the party. Here is a full list of all Skill Books and their effects in WoW SoD Phase 2.
Given that Scarlet Monastery dungeons are most frequently farmed in WoW SoD, they are the best spots for acquiring these skill books. Nonetheless, obtaining a Skill Book from another boss or elite enemy in a different dungeon is a possibility.
Warrior
All Druid Skill Books in WoW SoD Phase 2
During the Season of Discovery Phase 2 inWorld of Warcraft Classic, Druids can enhance their class by finding three Skill Books. These enhancements can be used alongsideall Druid SoD Runesto gain additional quality-of-life improvements.
Deeper Wilds(Passive)
Effect
Decreases the mana cost of Mark of the Wild by 50% and increases its duration by 50%.
Enhanced Restoration(Passive)
Your Rejuvenation and Regrowth spells can now be active on targets affected by another Druid’s Rejuvenation or Regrowth.
Revive(Active Ability)
Brings a dead player back to life with 15% of their health and mana. Cannot be used when in combat.
All Hunter Skill Books in WoW SoD Phase 2
During the Season of Discovery Phase 2 inWorld of Warcraft Classic, Hunters can enhance their class by finding one Skill Book. This enhancement can be used alongsideall Hunter SoD Runesto gain an additional quality-of-life improvement.
Aspect of the Viper(Active Ability)
The hunter takes on the aspect of the viper, causing your ranged and melee auto attacks to regenerate mana but reducing your total damage done by 10%. In addition, you gain 10% of maximum mana every 3 sec. Mana gained is based on the speed of your weapon. Only one Aspect can be active at a time.

Expanded Intellect(Passive)
Decreases the mana cost of Arcane Intellect by 50% and increases its duration by 50%.

Enhanced Blessings(Passive)
Increases the duration of your Blessing of Might, Wisdom, Salvation, Sanctuary, Light, and Kings by 100% and reduces their mana cost by 50%.

Increased Fortitude(Passive)
Decreases the mana cost of Power Word: Fortitude by 50% and increases its duration by 50%.
Shadowfiend(Active Ability)
Creates a shadowy fiend to attack the target. Caster receives 5% mana when the Shadowfiend attacks. Lasts 15 sec.

Redirect(Active Ability)
Removes all your existing combo points from your target and stores them for up to 15 sec. These stored combat points will be transferred to the next non-player enemy you hit with a melee or ranged ability.

Portal of Summoning(Active Ability)
Begins a ritual that creates a summoning portal. The summoning portal can be used by 2 party or raid members to summon a targeted party or raid member. The ritual portal requires the caster and 2 additional party or raid members to complete. In order to participate, all players must be out of combat and right-click the portal and not move until the ritual is complete.
Soul Harvesting(Passive)
You have a chance every time Drain Soul deals damage to gain an additional soul shard. This chance rises each time you do not gain a soul shard.
