2K has a lot riding onWWE 2K22, with the previous entry in the series,WWE 2K20, receiving such backlash from fans that it led to 2K canceling the next title and spending over two years developingWWE 2K22. So far, the gameplay trailers and announcements that have been made indicate that it has the potential to pay off, but only time will tell.
WWE 2K22is packed full of features including the usual Universe mode and the 2K Showcase, as well asthe return of the MyGM Modewhich allows players to take control and manage their own brand in WWE, and the all-new MyRise mode which will act as a story mode and features unique male and female storylines for the first time ever.

All of these features would mean nothing without a roster of WWE Superstars and Legends to play as, and 2K has made sure that the roster is stacked, with it including manyfan-favorite Legends including Macho Man Randy Savage, Chyna, Eddie Guererro, and five members of the NWO, Hulk Hogan, Kevin Nash, Scott Hall, Sean Waltman, and Eric Bischoff.
Over recent weeks 2K has been revealing many of the WWE Superstars and Legends that will be included inWWE 2K22, includingrapper turned rock star Machine Gun Kellywho has chosen the soundtrack for the game. Recently, a brand-new trailer has been released that focuses on some top WWE Superstars from the Raw brand, as well as revealing their ratings.
Here are all the ratings that were revealed in the recent trailer.

It is interesting to look into the ratings because it appears that the majority of ratings indicate the Superstar’s position in the company, for example, Becky Lynch is a 92 but Rhea Ripley only being an 86. Another takeaway is thatRoman Reigns has a higher rating than Brock Lesnar, which is the highest rating in the game right now with a score of 95.
WWE 2K22will launch on March 11 on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
