Activision Blizzard’s action RPG requires no special introduction, asDiablo 4has been breaking recordssince its June 2023 launch, and has generally been a highly anticipated addition to Microsoft’s subscription service. The only catch with this release is that its Xbox Game Pass version is currently limited to PC and Xbox consoles. Microsoft has yet to clarify when it plans to makeDiablo 4available via Xbox Cloud Gaming for its Ultimate-tier members.
The finalMarch 28 addition to Xbox Game PassisOpen Roads, an interactive road trip mystery starring Keri Russell (Star Wars: Rise of Skywalker,The Americans) and Kaitlyn Dever (Uncharted 4,Booksmart). This narrative-driven first-person puzzler also happens to be the third day-one release to reach Microsoft’s content catalog since the turn of the month, afterLightyear FrontierandMLB The Show 24did the same on March 19.
These arrivals cap off another strong month for the popular subscription service, which has averaged one new game every 2.2 days throughout the first quarter of the year. Microsoft appears to be eager to maintain that content momentum in the immediate future, as underlined by the fact thatXbox Game Pass already has nine confirmed games for April 2024. Five of them are going to be day-one releases, with that list comprisingBotany Manor,Harold Halibut,Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes,Another Crab’s Treasure, andManor Lords. Microsoft is expected to announce even more Xbox Game Pass additions come early April.
