A UK-based company, Zavvi sells Blu-rays and DVDs, clothing and accessories, and other collectibles from many popular franchises such as Marvel, Star Wars, Disney, Harry Potter, andPokemon. The store also has an in-house team of clothing designers that enable it to offer unique, limited-edition pop culture items, including forvideo games likeThe Legend of ZeldaandApex Legends.

Recently, Zavvi announced the imminent release of an exclusive, limited-edition collection of Pokemon clothing in celebration of the franchise’s 25th anniversary. The collection will center around one of the stars of series,Pikachu, and will go on sale on the Zavvi website on February 27, beginning at 12 p.m. UK time.

The launch of the different items in thePokemoncollection will be staggered. First to become available will be the Pokemon Box Collection at noon, which will contain four exclusive items: a black hoodie, black embroidered socks, a black ball cap, and a white printed cosmetics bag. The Pokemon Box Collection will be limited to 2500 available units, and each item will be marked with a 25th anniversary Pikachu logo.

Launching at 3 p.m. UK time is the Pokemon Mini Collection, which will contain the same black hoodie as the Pokemon Box Collection as well as a white sweatshirt and a Pikachu-yellow t-shirt. The Pokemon Pikachu 25th Black Adult Signature High Top, a limited-edition handcrafted canvas Pikachu high-top sneaker, will become available for interested buyers at 6 p.m. UK time.

Although the UK site is the only version of the Zavvi storefront that seems to have announced the exclusive collection, the items will be available for shipment worldwide. There is no indication of prices for any of the items in the collection.

For thosePokemonfans who miss out on the exclusive 25th anniversary collection, there are still some original items available from last year’s release as well as a number of other, less exclusive articles of clothing. Last year’s collection included a Pikachu-yellow t-shirt and sweatshirt, ablue Squirtleacid wash t-shirt, a black Mewtwo oversized t-shirt, and a black Psyduck hoodie.

The Zavvi store will also be launching a die-castPoke Ball replicaon April 30, which can be pre-ordered for £99.99. The item is a numbered collectible that has been officially licensed by The Pokemon Company International. It has an engineered metal shell, a painted finish, a glowing multicolor button that is powered by batteries, and comes in a metallic display box.
